The name itself indicates that it is not a favorable conjunction.
The Moon represents the mind, which is very fickle. One minute you are in a good mood, and the next moment, you are in a completely different or bad mood.
The Moon is the fastest-moving planet. It changes signs every 2.25 days, and accordingly, our mind and thoughts also change.
We can easily imagine what happens if we live in alliance with such a Moon.
Rahu is not a planet; it does not have a physical place in the horoscope like the other planets. It acts as a tipping point. It gives results based on the star, the position, and the planet it is associated with. If the accompanying planet is auspicious, it enhances positive results; if the planet is malefic, it increases negative outcomes.
If the Moon is in a malefic sign, Rahu will worsen its effects.
This conjunction can also be part of the Pitru Dosha.
A person with this conjunction may tend to overthink, which can lead to mental troubles.
If it is positioned in the 2nd or 4th house, there will always be arguments and quarrels in the house, leading to dissatisfaction. The relationship with the mother may not be good, and bonding will be poor. There may be property disputes or Vastu dosha, causing unrest in the house.
If it is in the 3rd house, it indicates poor relationships with siblings and frequent arguments over trivial matters.
In the 5th house, it causes obstacles in education, a lack of interest in learning, or taking the wrong career path. There may also be failure in love affairs.
In the 6th house, colleagues may cause trouble, leading to mental exhaustion.
In the 8th house, mental illness and more troubles arise, with unwanted thoughts occupying the mind.
In the 7th house, marital happiness will be affected.
In the 10th house, job-related instability and problems may arise.
Sometimes, it may bring sudden financial gains if it is in the 11th house.
In the 12th house, there will be difficulties with investments, but it may also bring foreign travel and Bandhan Yoga (imprisonment).
If there is a difference of 4-5 degrees between the Moon and Rahu, the stronger planet will dominate.
If the Moon is powerful, auspicious results will be obtained. The person will gain courage, become more determined, and work toward their goals, achieving success.
Remedies should be based on the degrees of the Moon and Rahu.
For example, if the Moon in the 5th house is weaker than Rahu and the person is studying, the Moon should be strengthened through remedies.
If Rahu is not strong, strengthening it will bring good results in career and jobs. Rahu generally gives favorable results after the age of 42-45 years.
These are just my thoughts based on my observations in many horoscopes.
